Grain harvesting is underway in the southern regions of the country. Farmers of the Almaty, South Kazakhstan, Zhambyl and Kyzylorda regions have harvested 600,000 tons of wheat with average yield of 21 quintals per hectare. The harvesting in the main grain regions of northern regions will begin in August. According to the national holding KazAgro about 60 billion tenge have been allocated for financing of commodity producers as part of the lending program since the beginning of the year; 2,500 farmers were financially supported. They received funding for both the purchase of grain and purchase of planting and harvesting machinery. The country continues to increase agricultural cooperation.

Until 2018 we are planning to launch cooperatives for production and processing of milk, beef cattle breeding, cotton production, processing of camel milk, beekeeping, corn, sheep breeding, processing and disposal of wheat.
