Nursultan Nazarbayev will pay official visit to Serbia until the end of this year. According to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Hungary, Serbia and Macedonia Nurbakh Rustemov, the trip will be the first in the history of bilateral relations. In addition, the Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic will also arrive to Kazakhstan on official visit, as well as exchange of parliamentary delegations will also take place.

We had a confidential nature of the relationship at the political level. Speaking about trade and economic aspect, we have a duty-free trade regime. We hope, the first meeting of the intergovernmental commission will be held on the eve of the visit of our president in Serbia, and we will establish a Business Council. This work is going very well.
Diplomatic ties between Kazakhstan and Serbia was established in 1996. The trade turnover between the states in the past year exceeded $55 million. The countries have a visa-free regime up to 30 days.
