Investment and Development Ministry proposes to tighten medical requirements for flight crew
Requirements to the medical examination of the aircraft crew are offered to be toughened. Such a punishment for false medical reports for the admission of the airline personnel are prescribed in the amendments to the law on the use of airspace, which was presented in Mazhilis on Tuesday. As the Deputy Minister for Investments and Development Albert Rau explained, medical experts, issuing false medical conclusion, will now be fined for 100 MCI, which totals more than 200 thousand tenge. In case of repeated violation the fine amount will be increased twice.
Albert RAU, VICE MINISTER OF INVESTMENT AND DEVELOPMENT:
You know, the resonance of the air crash of the German airline, when he actually crashed the plane killing a large number of passengers. In that case, pilot’s diseases were concealed. Such problems are everywhere, so all countries tighten their control over the medical examination of aviation personnel. Unfortunately, our test shows that we have this problem too. Over the past year, more than 80 cases of false, falsified medical reports of aircraft personnel were identified.
At a meeting in the Mazhilis it was also proposed to abandon the practice of irrecoverable tickets. According to deputies, the people who lend in advance the work of airlines should have the right to draw back funds, but, for example, with penalties. Besides Mazhilis members once again pointed to the constant increase in ticket prices due to foreign exchange binding.
Sapar AKHMETOV, MEMBER OF MAZHILIS, LOWER HOUSE OF KAZAKH PARLIAMENT:
Leadership of the state is now working to ensure that to conduct de-dollarization of the economy, it is necessary all the services, all prices are in tenge, and we tie dollars and it turns that we raise the prices for air travel for domestic flights. It is also wrong. It is also necessary for the committee of civil aviation to work over.
