Russian cosmonaut Sergey Volkov awarded ‘Dostyk’ order
By the Decree of President Nursultan Nazarbayev, Russian cosmonaut Sergey Volkov was awarded the Order "Dostyk» of II degree. The award is often given for fruitful work in preservation of consensus in the society, merits in strengthening of peace, friendship and cooperation among nations. On behalf of the Kazakh President, famous astronaut Aidyn Aimbetov presented the award to his Russian colleague. Aimbetov had flown into the circumterraneous orbit together with Sergey Volkov. The commander of "Soyuz TMA-18M" spacecraft worked in the space for almost six months. Today, the "Soyuz TMA-18M"capsule with Russian cosmonauts Sergey Volkov, Mikhail Korniyenko and American astronaut Scott Kelly aboard landed in the Karaganda region near the city of Zhezkazgan.
