People’s Artist of Kazakhstan, Aiman Mussakhajayeva’s concert in China was a smashing success. The tickets to the music event were sold out a week prior to the performance of the famed violinist. Additional rows were prepared for the audience due to the lack of the available seats at the Cadillac Shanghai Concert Hall. Chinese audience was impressed by the performance of the People’s artist of Kazakhstan. At the evening Aiman Mussakhajayeva performed Yevgeny Brusilovsky’s composition “Bozayghyr” as an encore. The management of the Shanghai Philharmonic has decided to hold another joint concert by the Kazakh artist end of the year. The violinist’s performance was organized as part of the Modernization of Public Consciousness program with the assistance from the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan and Kazakhstan’s consulate-general in Shanghai.
LEE SHYBO, SPECTATOR, CHINA:
- I like classical music. I am well aware of Aiman Mussakhajayeva’s works. But, nevertheless, when I heard new compositions at today’s concert, I enjoyed them a lot.
AIMAN MUSSAKHAJAYEVA, PEOPLE’S ARTIST OF KAZAKHSTAN:
- We have big plans. Yesterday we met with Mister Lin – the dean of the Shanghai Conservatory who invited us to perform at the concert hall, to come with student symphony orchestra, and with senior bands.
