Digitalization of economies is becoming a key factor in the development of the Central Asian region. This is the opinion of international experts. According to experts, the region is actively developing information technology, business processes, production is moving to automated systems, and digital security is also showing growth. At present, the countries are implementing advanced models taking into account the best international experience. This applies to all areas, from smart cities to e-government.

 - I came from Tashkent tonight, where a cloud forum was held; we discussed clouds for digital transformation. A very active study of various digital projects is being conducted there. Smart city projects are implemented in Dushanbe and Bishkek. The more experience we share within bilateral meetings and multilateral conferences, the more successful the projects are.

 - One of the advantages of the entry of international companies into our market is the spread of that experience, including, such programs as "Digital Kazakhstan", dissemination of world experience in our region - Central Asia. Adoption of the experience of such countries as Singapore, Malaysia, Japan and the United States of America is a very big plus.

At present, neighboring countries are considering the experience of Kazakhstan in this direction. The "Digital Kazakhstan" program is attracting particular attention. Innovations will be introduced in the public sector, the economy and the ecosystem as part of the national project. Such cities as Astana, Almaty, Karaganda, Aktobe and Shymkent will switch to digital systems and will receive the status of "Smart City". 14 of the country's mining companies will modernize and digitize production.

ARAILYM MUSSAYEVA, STAFF, INFORMATIZATION DEPARTMENT:

 - The regulatory and legal regulation to ensure the implementation of all these digital technologies will be completed in 2018. On broadband Internet access since 2018. That is providing access to the broadband internet to the remaining settlements. By 2021, we expect that 82% of the entire population will be covered by the Internet access.

"Digital Kazakhstan" program for 2018-2022 was approved by the Government of Kazakhstan. It is expected that the implementation of the five-year project will increase the country's GDP to 5%.
