Organ transplantation will be conducted for free in Kazakhstan, which will be made possible due to introduction of compulsory health insurance. This was announced at a public meeting by the officials of the Kazakh Ministry of Health and Social Development in Almaty. According to them, more than three thousand people are in need of organ transplantation across the country.

Heart and liver transplantations costing 3 million tenge and above will be conducted upon necessity on any citizen of our country for free within the compulsory health insurance in the near future.
