The medical staff of the ‘Densaulyk’ hospital train has conducted screening for nearly 4,000 people in remote areas of Kazakhstan. According to the Spokesman of the Emergency Situations Committee of the Interior Ministry, Ruslan Imankulov, the work of the special train will run until August 14. Three hospital trains ‘Densaulyk’, ‘Salamatty Kazakhstan’ and ‘Zhardem’ were launched back in 2011. These special railway trains with carriages equipped for the provision of healthcare. The trains provide a variety of healthcare services, including dental care.  This year, 300 million tenge was allocated for implementation of this project.

Since June 11, specialists of ‘Densaulyk’ train examined patients of 33 stations in Eastern Kazakhstan, Almaty and Kyzylorda regions. More than 6,000 people including 1,145 children were examined. A number of medical visits reached more than 59 thousand. 30,821 diagnostic procedures and, 115 small ambulatory surgeries have been conducted. 2,000 people were provided free dental care.
