Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are expanding their cultural cooperation

Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are expanding their cultural cooperation. People’s Assembly of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan’s Committee on Interethnic Relations signed a memorandum of cooperation. The agreement opens new opportunities for cultural exchange between the two republics. It contains agreements on the planned tours of Kazakh and Uzbek theaters, as well as the creation of joint projects to study the history and state languages ​​of the two countries. The agreement was reached as part of the Civil Forum of National Cultural Centers of the member countries of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia.
