Magical "The Journey of Peer Gynt" was presented to young spectators of Astana Opera. The music of Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg conveys the amazing nature of Norway, an unusual fairytale atmosphere and an exciting journey of the main character. Dramatist Henrik Ibsen wrote the plot of the play. The child audience can access the work owing to a successful mix of symphonic music, video projections and theatrical action with the participation of fairy-tale characters such as Mountain King, trolleys and elves.

RUSLAN BAIMURZIN, CONDUCTOR:

 - The most important goal is to attract the children to classical music. Most importantly, it's beautiful music. Both adults and kids listen to it. Grieg’s music is universal. Grieg even said, "Beethoven's music is wine, and my music is water. Not everyone drinks wine, but everyone drinks water. "
