MICHAIL JUROWSKI, CONDUCTOR, GERMANY:

 - I don’t really like monographic programs, the ones that are dedicated to only one composer, although I had to do them a lot in the past but I definitely like alternative programs. I was delighted to receive an invitation from Astana. It was very interesting to work with the orchestra. I think that this orchestra may have a great future.

The highlight of the evening were the performances by famous Kazakh violinst Aiman Mussakhajayeva and the Academy of Soloists. They stole the hearts of the audiences earning standing ovations.

AIMAN MUSSAKHAJAYEVA, PEOPLE'S ARTIST OF KAZAKHSTAN:

 - We are planning one more similar concert on the stage of this great and beautiful concert hall mid-May. Our folk and symphonic orchestras and choirs will participate in the concert.

A series of concerts titled ‘Aiman Mussakhajayeva presents...’ will become one of the bright highlights of celebrations of Astana’s 20th anniversary. Residents and guests of the Kazakh capital will be able to enjoy a rich musical program featuring most famous  world and Kazakh classical music pieces.
