Personal exhibition by artist Yerlan Gaimoldin opened in Kazakhstan. The artist presented nearly 30 works based mainly on historical motifs. The artist calls his works the rebus paintings. Every painting has a hidden meaning a viewer has to resolve. Yerlan Gaimoldin in his paintings often depicts scenes from Kazakh epics and mythology of the Sakas and Turks. He often visits historical and holy places where he draws his inspiration from.


- After the trip to the grave of Mashkhur Zhusup, I have completely changed the color palette of my paintings, my style has changed. I have been always interested in the origin of the Turks. This topic is reflected in almost every other painting.
