The traveling exhibition of the library of the First President of Kazakhstan opened in the Central State Museum in Almaty. More than seven hundred exhibits from the Personal Archive of the Head of State are disclosing the key moments of the formation of the independent state, as well as the historical role of Nursultan Nazarbayev.

The exhibition is divided into four sections. The first two cover the biography of the Kazakh President starting from childhood to becoming the President, and also reflect all important decisions, initiatives and their significance. The third section displaces high state awards of Nursultan Nazarbayev. In the section "Honorary President of the World" visitors can see the achievements of Kazakhstan's foreign policy.

KULYAISHA AKTAYEVA, DEPUTY DIRECTOR, LIBRARY OF FIRST PRESIDENT OF KAZAKHSTAN:

 - The special thing about this exhibition is that the Library of the First President is a unique institution where the Head of State keeps his Personal Archive, books and museum exhibits. The public should see this unique collection.

All exhibits are unique and have their historical value for the state. The exhibition presents both rare editions of the Qur'an of the 18-19th centuries, as well as the Holy Scripture, which was taken to space.

VALDAS BURNEIKA, SECOND SECRETARY, CONSULATE GENERAL OF LITHUANIA IN ALMATY:

 - I thought the exhibition would probably display a small part of the exhibits of the President's Museum, but it creates a strong impression. Even a small part has lots of exhibits. This stand that you can see behind me has immediately attracted my attention. It is connected with Lithuania, the book by our President Algirdas Brazauskas.

The exposition will be open until January 14. Three international conferences and five scientific seminars will be held as part of the exhibition.
