Kazakh ballet troupe traveled to Oman at the special invitation of the Royal Opera House in Muscat
Kazakh ballet dancers are performing on the world’s best stages and introducing the national art to the spectators. "Astana Opera" performances are popular worldwide. The recent tour of the Astana Opera ballet troupe to Oman was a big success. Kazakh artists traveled to Oman at the special invitation of the Royal Opera House in Muscat. The troupe debuted with a world classical ballet masterpiece - "Swan Lake" in a new choreographic interpretation by Altynai Assylmuratova. The troupe consisting of 77 artists gave stunning performances gaining international acclaim.

Astana Opera tours to the USA, Canada, Russia, China, European and other countries. The theater’s fifth season starts on October 20. Starting from that day the audience will be able to plunge into the world of art and enjoy the masterpieces of world classics performed by Kazakh artists. The ballet ‘Sleeping Beauty’ will open the season. In November, spectators will see the bright premiere ‘Carmen’ by Bizet. The repertoire will include operas ‘Birzhan-Sara’, ‘The Barber of Seville, or The Useless Precaution’, ‘The Queen of Spades’ and the ballet ‘Le Corsaire’.
