Astana hosted a big symphony concert called ‘Energy of Music’. The famous musicians from Mexico, Italy and South Korea have arrived in the Kazakh capital. Aiman Mussakhajayeva, People's artist of Kazakhstan and the Kazakh State Chamber Orchestra ‘Academy of Soloists’ performed masterpieces of classical music as part of the Expo 2017.

The highlight of the evening was the virtuoso reading of the legendary triple concert by Beethoven. The performance of this work is a testament to the high level of musicians. In addition to the concert, eminent guests held several master classes in Astana. They shared their secrets of success and technology with students and teachers of the Kazakh National University of Arts.

 

AIMAN MUSSAKHAJAYEVA, PEOPLE'S ARTIST OF KAZAKHSTAN:

-Today we were pleased to see how the chief conductor works as part of this program with our students, works with our well-known teachers and all this makes up a wonderful concert that will be performed today in our Kazakhstan concert hall.

 

MARCO SCHIAVO, PIANIST, ITALY:

 - I feel very good, very comfortable to play with them. It is not first time to play with this orchestra, of course, I play with chamber orchestra and the orchestra is bigger and I play with Aiman after time here, in Europe and all over the world.

 

An outstanding Italian cellist and conductor, Enrico Dindo, together with the Kazakh State Academic Symphonic Orchestra of Kazakhstan gave a performance at the expo site. The program featured the symphony No. 5 by Tchaikovsky, a concert for the cello by the Czech composer, Antonin Dvorak. Enrico Dindo is known as a cellist of exceptional abilities. He performed at the world's largest venues with the most famous conductors and collectives. The maestro plays on the instrument of circa 1717, which once belonged to the famous Italian musician, Alfredo Piatti.

Another popular musician visited Astana. Italian pianist, Andreas Luccasini, gave a solo concert which was accompanied by the Kazakh State Academic Symphonic Orchestra. Luccasini has gained world fame due to a deep understanding of the works by Beethoven.

 - I’m very happy to be here in Astana for the EXPO 2017. It is my first time in Astana, my first time in Kazakhstan and we are all surprised because the city is beautiful and the expo is very well organized.
