Nearly 100 ballet dancers performed at Abai Opera and Ballet Theatre. 8 years of academic life have come to an end and for many graduates this performance has become the main starting point, the landmark between ballet school and the professional life.

MALIKA YELCHIBAYEVA, GRADUATE, SELEZNEV ALMATY CHOREOGRAPHIC COLLEGE:

 - I am planning to work, to achieve new goals. I want to work in this theater.

BAKHYTGUL ISPANOVA, GRADUATE, SELEZNEV ALMATY CHOREOGRAPHIC COLLEGE:

 - Some sort of excitement, I want to dance faster because we have studied for 8 years to perform on this day, and we want our teachers to see the results of many years training.

Honored Artist of Kazakhstan Lyudmila Lee is a teacher of many today's graduates. She says the young generation wants to dance not only the classics, but also the Neo-Kazakh ballet, the model of which was laid in "Mogilik Yel", one-act ballet by the young Kazakhstani choreographer Anvara Sadykova.

LYUDMILA LEE, ARTISTIC DIRECTOR:

 - Very subtle modern plastic, all the elements of modern choreography were inserted into the Kazakh plastic. She did it! And it's great! We have not lost the peculiarities of Kazakh folk dance movements, but at the same time it acquired some very modern characteristics.

The moment when the classics by Sergei Prokofiev, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Moris Ravel revives is when young ballet dancers perform on stage. Another final concert will be held at Abai Kazakh State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. The audience will see the "solemn defile" of 60 graduates to the music of Tchaikovsky.
