Personal exhibition of Mexican artist Sandra Pani opens at National Museum
Kazakhstanis had the opportunity to get acquainted with contemporary art of Latin America. The personal exhibition of Mexican artist Sandra Pani "Like a tree" opened at the National Museum. The presented exhibition of 30 graphic art works was created for nearly 10 years. The artist's spirit of shamanism can be traced in her paintings, but the main theme is the unity of man and nature. This is reflected in the nature of the paintings –at her works Sandra Pani shows a tree trunk in the form of a human body. According to the Ambassador of the United Mexican States in Kazakhstan, the exhibition is only the beginning of a cultural exchange between the countries.

In future I hope to have a film week of Mexican films, we would also like to have some exchange in music: Kazakh musicians in Mexico, Mexican musicians in Kazakhstan. Some exchanges on gastronomy and also on handicraft and other traditional art.
