The new film "The Leader's Path. In the Epicenter of the World" will reveal new names in the history of Kazakhstan. Akan Sataev is directing the sixth film in the series about President Nursultan Nazarbayev. The film describes the history of the young capital of Kazakhstan - Astana starting from 1994 to the present day. Filming is takeing place  in the first residence of the Head of State, which now is the Museum of the First President. The episode is devoted to the transfer of the Kazakh capital from Almaty to Akmola and how Astana was built up into a modern capital.

AKAN SATAEV, DIRECTOR:

 - Therefore, there are a lot of such serious locations. The author of the script is Adilbek Dzhaksybekov, head of the presidential administration.

The atmosphere of those days is recreated in the cabinet, the reception room and the meeting rooms that have been preserved almost intact. President's friends and those who had worked with him closely are among the film's consultants.

ILYAS SAYMASAYEV, PROJECT CONSULTANT:

 - I worked in the President's Security Service and was closely working with the President. I was just lucky enough to see not only the official part of his life, but also the behind the scenes.

Theater and cinema actor Murat Akhmanov plays Nursultan Nazarbayev. The film cast also includes Erkebulan Dairov, Zhan Bayzhanbaev and other famous artists. Oscar-winning makeup artist, Mark Coulier, who recreated the images of Margaret Thatcher and Winston Churchill, is involved as well.

MARK COULIER, SPECIAL EFFECTS ARTIST:

 - This is a complex process. Murat and the Head of State look alike, but make up is necessary. First of all, a cast of the actor's face is made, the shape of his head is molded. Then the skin is applied on the computer program, we paint it to make it look like the leader's photo.

The film premiere is scheduled for the end of this year.
