Uzbekistan is fully committed to exempt foreigners from paying taxes

Uzbekistan is fully committed to exempt foreigners from paying taxes. The move will be carried out by 2020. In addition, entrepreneurs will have customs privileges. Currently, preferences are available only in the free economic zone of the Dzhizak region. The announcement was made at the International Investment Forum in Dzhizak. More than 300 entrepreneurs from 28 countries, including Kazakhstan attended the event. Kazakh entrepreneurs are investing in Uzbekistan’s construction and chemical industries. Furthermore, medicine, tourism and the agro-industrial sectors are also promising areas for bilateral cooperation. Over 20 agreements and memorandums were signed at the forum.
