Kazakh-Slovenian Business Club has opened an office in Astana
Kazakh-Slovenian Business Club has opened an office in Astana. The opening ceremony was held at an international forum with the participation of 60 representatives of businessmen of the two countries. The business club will promote development of networking between entrepreneurs. In the first 10 months of 2017, the value of bilateral trade between Kazakhstan and Slovenia totaled US$97.2 million. Both countries are looking forward to increase the figure.
Kazakhstan considers Slovenia as one of its key partners in Central Europe. Slovenia is ready to share its experiences with Kazakhstan in the implementation of advanced startups based on block chain technology as well as experiences in innovations, telecommunications and information.

- Kazakhstan is very important market for Slovenian companies. As I said, we do have something more like 100 active companies and last year I must admit we have had 60 to 80 million of investments from Slovenian companies to Kazakhstan. We are talking about direct investment. We do have companies, which are here in Kazakhstan, let’s say very diverse companies from IT sector but mostly we do have industry sectors.
