Kazakh and Ukrainian producers are building export capacities. In the first quarter of 2018, Kazakhstan's fuel exports grew 30-fold. Ukrainian operators imported nearly 36,000 tonnes of natural gas from Kazakhstan. They noted note its quality, which meets the European standards.

IVAN KUDINOV, ANALYST, PETROLEUM PRODUCTS MARKET:

- According to our calculations, since 2010 this is the largest figure of the imported Kazakh liquefied gas. According to our forecasts, this year the figure will increase. The contract with Tengizchevroil contributed to addressing the shortage in August and September 2017. Now, due to the supply of the Kazakh liquefied gas, our market has become more predictable.

The demand for gas in Ukraine is estimated at 150,000 tonnes per month. Analysts of the petroleum product market forecast that with this demand, the volume of supplies from Kazakhstan will continue to grow.

IVAN KUDINOV, ANALYST, PETROLEUM PRODUCTS MARKET:

- According to our forecasts, imports from Kazakhstan make up 18%, which can grow to 20%. Accordingly, in 2018, Kazakhstan will take back the market share that the country had in 2010 and 2011.

Ukraine is one of the top ten countries for blue fuel consumption. In order to cover the petroleum deficit, the Ukrainian traders made a choice in favor of the loyal policies of Kazakhstan's propane-butane producers.
