Kazakhstan intends to expand cooperation with India. Delhi hosted the second meeting of the business council of the countries. More than 100 Indian companies showed interest in developing trade and economic relations with Kazakh entrepreneurs. As part of the meeting, entrepreneurs of the two states in the B2B format discussed the prospects for joint projects. The cooperation is expected in strategically important areas like production of agricultural, construction and tractor machinery. In addition, the parties discussed a project which is to open Kazakhstan’s cargo terminal in one of the Indian seaports in the western coast. As part of the event, the updated ‘Roadmap’ for development of trade, economic and investment cooperation between the two countries was adopted.
