The Kazakh investors might take part in construction of the Tashkent City business center

The Kazakh investors might take part in construction of the Tashkent City business center. This was announced at the presentation of the new project. The construction of a modern business city in the Uzbek capital will begin next year. For this purpose, 80 hectares of land were allocated. The business center plans to build residential houses, 40 story business rooms, hotels, concert halls, shopping and entertainment centers. Experts say that according to the plan, the Tashkent City should become an international business center not only in Uzbekistan, but also throughout Central Asia. An administrative council headed by the Uzbek Prime Minister was established to implement the project.

BAKHRAM RIZAYEV, HEAD, DEPARTMENT FOR ATTRACTING INVESTMENTS FROM CIS MEMBER COUNTRIES:

- Upon completion of construction, what they built will become their private property. They will decide what to do with the property, particularly, they can rent and sell. There are no restrictions. Moreover, a bit of a help here is the recent adoption of a number of decisions aimed at supporting investors. Another factor is that we launched a conversion which means an investor can freely withdraw profits. This is a huge contribution towards ensuring that the investor feels secure.
