Seoul hosted the first meeting of the Executive Committee of the Korea-Central Asia Cooperation Forum Secretariat. South Korea's cooperation with Central Asian countries in transport, logistics, health, water management and the specialist training were discussed at the meeting. Representatives of South Korean ministries and departments, as well as the embassies of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan have outlined plans for the next year.

KIM GWANG-KEUN, SECRETARY-GENERAL, KOREA-CENTRAL ASIA COOPERATION FORUM:

 - In mid-November, we will implement a project to get acquainted with the smart system of water consumption. Within a week, the South Korean K-water Corporation will train ten specialists from three countries, including Kazakhstan. Water resources management in Central Asian region is very important activity. I think that our experience and knowledge in the management system will be very useful.
