Kazakh cheese from mare's milk has been delivered to Russia. This unique product evoked great interest in the neighboring country. All of the products are made by special   recipes, and it’s a true craftsmanship.

 

PYOTR PRONIN, SPOKESPERSON, KAZAKHSTAN’S CREAMERY IN MOSCOW:

We have cheese with forest mushrooms, maresmilk and rosemary. There are no cheesemakers that would produce this type of cheese in Russia. People in Moscow or St. Petersburg are very fond of this cheese and this is an unusual taste for them. They are ready to buy it. We brought 50-60 kg to the cheese festival and we sold them in two days.

 

This product, created in Kazakhstan in the small cheese factory, already has loyal customers in Moscow. Due to small production volumes, sometimes the cheese is brewed for individual order.

 

AKMARAL IMANBAYEVA, HEAD OF CREAMERY:

- We dont add anything, we dont have any antibiotics and milk powder. Everything is as it should be. We cook a small amount of 100-200 kg per month. The technology of making the cheese from mare's milk is very difficult which is almost impossible. In Italy and Florence, this cheese had been developed for more than 10 years. We have suffered a lot, too. As a result, we have succeeded.

 

The unique cheese can be found in Moscow on the shelves of stores of the Kazakh products.

- Recently, we started working with these cheeses, but it seems that people have liked them very much. The people who tried and bought it, came back and to get the cheese again.

 

The cheesemakers plan to increase production volumes and develop new recipes by taking into account the features of the traditional Kazakh cuisine.
