Consumer prices in France, coordinated with the EU standards, in September decreased by 0.2% compared with the previous month, according to the final data of the INSEE National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies. In annual terms, prices rose in September by 0.5%. The dynamics of both indicators coincided with the preliminary data and the forecasts of analysts surveyed by Bloomberg. The cost of food in France fell by 0.5% compared with the previous month, energy sources rose by 0.8% in September. Prices for industrial goods rose by 1.3%, prices for services decreased by 1.1%.
