CEO of the Bank of Japan Haruhiko Kuroda informed that the Bank will raise the interest rate, when the inflation rate reaches 2%. However, borrowing costs are unlikely to increase in the near future, media reports. According to Kuroda, if monetary policy needs to be eased further, the rates will be lowered again, but in case of steady growth of prices, the interest rates will rise.
