In September, UK construction industry marked rise of business activity, which happened for the first time since May. This was mainly due to the recovery in the construction sector of residential houses. Survey respondents noted the increased level of trust among customers and an increase in demand after the uncertainties caused by exit of UK from EU. Taking into account this the construction companies indicated the restoration of business expectation for the next 12 months. Slightly less than half of the respondents forecasted the industry growth in production over the next year, while the decline is expected only 9% of respondents.
