The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has approved the opening of two credit lines of $10 million euros for projects in Belarus, media reports. A credit line in the amount of 8 million euros is opened for the Belarusian Foundation for funding of energy and other 2 million euros for the implementation of ‘Women in Business’ program. Since the beginning of its activity in Belarus in 1992, the EBRD has invested about 1.8 billion euros in 70 projects in various sectors of the economy, European Bank specifies.
