The Asian Development Bank (ADB) for the last thirty years has allocated loans worth $17 billion for the implementation of 95 transport projects in China, reports Interfax referring to a spokesperson of the bank. It is reported that 55% of the total funds received by China has been allocated to projects for the construction of high-speed roads, 27% - for the construction of railways, the remaining funds directed to projects relating to urban transport, port construction and water transport. The Ministry of Transport of China said that China has become the second in terms of the borrower of ADB loans.
