Industrial production in France fell unexpectedly in June due to the suspension of production at some refineries, which was caused by a succession of strikes, media reports. According to Insee National Statistical Institute, the second-largest EU economy fell by 0.8% compared to the previous month. Production in the petrochemical dipped by 12%, while the production in the food industry decreased 2.3%.
