Consumer lending becomes in demand once again in Kazakhstan. According to, the volume of new loans provided to the residents of the country has risen to 167 billion tenge in May, which is higher by 22% compared to May 2015. The average of consumer loans in previous four months was kept at 15% per month and was slower compared to the same period last year. Reduction was observed during the whole previous year. Banks issued 1.8 trillion tenge in 2015, which is by 22% than in 2014.
