U.S. Energy Information Administration of U.S. Department of Energy in its July energy review has raised the forecast of oil production in Kazakhstan for 2016 and 2017. The forecast of oil output for 2016 was raised to 1.69 million barrels per day compared to 1.68 million barrels per day in June’s forecast. The forecast for 2017 was raised to 1.72 million barrels per day compared with 1.7 million barrels per day, according to the portal Inform.kz. In 2015, according to EIA, oil production in Kazakhstan amounted to 1.73 million barrels per day.
