The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development provided a loan in the amount of 3.8 billion tenge to microfinance organization KMF, EBRD’s partner in Kazakhstan. According to the Bank's press release, loan will be granted in two tranches. Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund acts as a guarantor. The transaction aims at lending small enterprises working under the 'Women in Business' program with the support of the Damu Fund.
