U.S. growth estimate in the first quarter was revised from 0.8% to 1.1%, the U.S. Department of Commerce reported. The data still indicate the lowest rates of U.S. GDP growth in the past few years. In the fourth quarter of 2015, the U.S. GDP grew by 1.4%, according to Business Insider. Analysts polled by Reuters on average had forecast a reassessment of growth in GDP in the first quarter to 1%. According to revised data, in January-March, the spending of enterprises for software, research and development increased by 4.4%.
