National bank of Kazakhstan: second-tier banks must notify customers of commission rates
Banks in Kazakhstan may be obliged to notify customers of commission rate before making a payment transaction, as well as to introduce ban on change of the conditions of the contract between the bank and the client unilaterally. This was announced by the chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan Daniyar Akishev. Also, the regulator also announced the terms of payments execution by banks will be reduced. In particular, he noted that the draft law introduces a limit on the recovery of benefits and social benefits, housing benefits from the bank accounts of citizens under requirements of third parties.
