UK unemployment fell in the III quarter to 5.1% against 5.8% a year earlier, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS) of the country. The last time such a low unemployment rate was recorded in the UK was in August-October 2005. Experts surveyed by Bloomberg predicted unemployment at 5.2%. The number of employed in the UK made up 31,390,000. This is by 267,000 people more than in June-August 2015 and by 588,000 more than in the Q3 of 2014.
