Prague is hosting ‘Astana is the city of the World’ exhibition

Prague is hosting ‘Astana is the city of the World’ exhibition dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s capital. The exposition presents nearly 20 pictures of unique buildings of the country’s main city. The unique and modern, original and fascinating pictures captured by the cameras of famous Kazakh photographers. The exposition is receiving a wide acclaim among the Czech public. As part of the photo exhibition, books of Kazakh authors have been presented, too. The most popular among them is a historical trilogy ‘The Nomads’ by famous Kazakh writer Ilyas Yesenberlin. The trilogy was translated into Czech. The edition has already been published in 30 different languages ​​ with a total circulation of more than three million copies. According to the parties, this cooperation is of great importance to the cultural life of both nations.
