An exhibition of children's creative works titled ‘Symphony of Peace and Kindness’ was opened in the library of the first President of Kazakhstan. Students of the Nursultan Nazarbayev Educational Foundation showcased more than 400 works that represented the most diverse arts and applied techniques such as paintings, graphics, photography, collage, mosaic art and quilling. 150 works were selected by jury members to become the finalists of the contest. According to the young artists, the art works are timed to the 20th anniversary of Astana and demonstrate the spirit of independent Kazakhstan, principles of unity, peace and harmony.

LIKA TITYUK, CONTESTANT:

 - I drew two paintings, specifically, the paintings of a peacock and a school room. The teacher suggested my friend and I to draw the school room and we decided that it was a good idea. Then we took a photograph of the class and copied it. The girls who were photographed were very glad that they were in the picture, which will be showcased here.

KULYAISHA AKTAYEVA, DEPUTY DIRECTOR, LIBRARY OF FIRST PRESIDENT OF KAZAKHSTAN:

 - Plots, colors and motifs convey modern Kazakhstan, which preserves and passes traditions on to next generations. Perhaps, here is a symbolism. By understanding the importance and scale of this exposition, our library of the head of state offers the guests and residents of the capital the opportunity to visit this exhibition before the end of August. The exhibition will be placed in the library museum.
