ARYSTANBEK MUKHAMEDIULY, KAZAKH MINISTER OF CULTURE AND SPORTS:
- Kazakhstan is one of top four countries that can host the first UNESCO Olympic Games in traditional sports in 2021. UNESCO representatives will visit Astana not only to attend the Asia Championship, but also to evaluate the organization and popularity of traditional sports in Kazakhstan. If the UNESCO experts highly appreciate the development of our traditional sports, we will have the opportunity to hold the first Olympics in Traditional Sports in 2021.
