AEF 2018: The world of a new man
The search for new identity and ethics in the digital age, cyborgs and new ways of education are among the global topics which will be discussed at the 11th Astana Economic Forum. 500 speakers from around the world will talk about the impact of innovations in the educational process.
ALMAT ISHCHANOV, DEPARTMENT DIRECTOR, KAZAKH MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE:
- Innovative educational content is implemented in all schools. The content is trilingual and does not replace a teacher’s role, but assists teachers in downloading the content with interactive lessons. More than 40,000 video lessons are set in various electronic laboratories.
The forum’s agenda include topics such as longevity and global security. Humanity must be ready for the downsides of a technological revolution. Experts will discuss how the government and corporations guarantee peace and protect the personal data.
TIMUR SULEIMENOV, KAZAKH MINISTER OF NATIONAL ECONOMY:
- Not only economics, finance and technology define our lives. It's good that we discuss about them and invite additional speakers, experts that have visions and new ideas to help us. We expect that our guests will be able to formulate a policy in human capital development, technology development and resource management.
The discussion topics such as New Mankind, Urbanization and Longevity as a New Branch of the Economy will be interesting to the participants, especially when Nobel laureates, world politicians as well as founders of large corporations and developers of new scientific trends were invited.
