Kazakh National Academic Library hosted a conference on Kazakh-German cooperation in education. The event was devoted to the 25th anniversary of cooperation between the two countries. Diplomats, state officials, honored teachers and experts discussed the future development of the Kazakh-German partnership in vocational, university and secondary education. Germany is supporting the development of dual education system in Kazakhstan. Last year, over 80 Kazakh workers took training abroad.

There is a “live” bridge between our countries: there are one million former Kazakhstan citizens of German origin living in Germany and 200,000 Germans living in Kazakhstan. There is a strong bond between our countries. It is important to encourage Kazakhstanis to learn German language. This will let our students, in particular, to receive free education in German universities.
